I purchased this gun about 15 years ago but it seemed too nice to use.  Now I need to sell it.  It is a:

WINCHESTER 52B BOLT ACTION SINGLE SHOT 22 CALIBER RIFLE. IT HAS A 24″ BARREL, NIB, serial number BS 4730. Sporting. It has never been fired. Still in original box. extra mag and scope mounts and instruction manual.

Can anyone tell me what it is worth and how to sell it.  This is all new to me so any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Myles

You have the new Browning made version of the 52B Sporter style Winchester design.  These are sometimes refered to as the 52B Sporter reproductions.  NIB they are currently bringing in the $900-$1000 range on average.  The quickest place to list it would be on one of the forums in the “for sale” section such as the Swap Meet section in our forum or the Rimfire Central forum Trading Post.  The safest place to list it would be one of the gun auction sites such as Gunbroker.  You will get much more traffic and interest on Gunbroker and it is a true auction whereas if you list it on a forum you must establish a fixed price.

Hope this helps.
