Dec. 4-7… might be a little wet according to the weather man… I’ve packed my poncho and rented a scooter to cover more ground without the pain. It’s always a good show to find stuff… haven’t found a good bbq joint yet, but there is some mighty fine Mexican food places.

Not sure of the table count but it fills 4 buildings.. enough stuff for everyone’s interest. Well worth the visit..

Is this a Crossroads of the West show? My friends tell me I should go. Phoenix is a 6 hour drive for me.

It’s the Crossroad show and the SAR (Small Arms Review) show… I guess there’s 2000 +/- tables & booths. Lots of outside tents with individuals selling. I’ve seen some amazing deals from “snow birds” getting rid of stuff… my brother inlaw bought a Win. 52B Sporter last year for $1,000… I was stunned & envious to say the least.

Southwest Arizona, especially near the Colorado River, is Snow Bird heaven during the winter months. I’m not prepared to go this time. When is the next show?

Mike… too much “public service” will drive a man crazy. Ask me, I’m proof! Maybe we can connect again at the February New Frontier show in Durrant. That is if you’re brave enough to cross into Oklahoma…. 🙂 I’ll be searching for a good BBQ place there too… if anyone here knows of one, please let me know!

Got beat up at the Chamber meeting tonight, we need to fill four board positions and they wouldn’t take no for an answer. I feel like I’ve been herding cats for the last several days dealing with volunteers, government officials and contractors. Last thing I want is another job, I don’t drink enough to deal with these folks! I’ll be at Scott’s Durant show, I’m not smart enough to be scared of much.
