I’ve only been to Cody once… found a couple restaurants that I can safely recommend, but was just wondering what other restaurants should I know about?  Having more options is a good thing.  I know this isn’t about “guns”… if it doesn’t meet official parameters, feel free to lock/delete…

I’ve done breakfast 3 times at “Our Place” …. food was good.  Portions were also good.  Price was typical.  There was always a line at the door when it opened, so expect service to be slower with the show crowd.

I’ve also had breakfast at the Irma Restaurant… great decor.  Food was good.  Priced above “Our Place”…

Only time I’ve had dinner was at Michael’s Tacos….  really great food.  Fast service… Price was good too.

update:  Maybe someone knows of good Asian restaurants?  Thai? Japanese? Chinese?  I love hot & sour soup…Cool

also where not to eat could be helpful… Embarassed

We eat breakfast at Granny’s.  Sometimes dinner.  It is a coffee shop with reasonable prices.  Always see a bunch of WACA members there.  There are at least 3 steak houses but it will cost you at least $40 per person.  Sometimes we go to the Irma when the shoot out is going on.  Most tourists are watching the show.   The Proud Cut has been around for ever.  If you go through town there is Bubba’s BBQ.

At Cody or anywhere else, my favorite place is this:

I’d consider it a wasted trip if I didn’t dine at the Irma at least once. Don’t laugh but I actually enjoy the Dairy Queen Brazier down the road from the CFM. I generally grab breakfast at McDonald’s but will probably be looking into microwaving something for at least a few breakfasts.

Maybe we could put the word out and descend on the Erma Restaurant at 7:30 for breakfast on Thursday… maybe help put a face to a name.  Heaven’s knows, we need to be well fed before trying to load in at 9am!  If we get many to come, I’d call to let them know so they could add a waitress or 2…

I’m always up for BBQ!  Maybe Wednesday or Friday night…or Sunday after leaving the show… I’m already busy Thursday evening and Saturday night… Kiss
