Hi,

I am not a Tech guy by any means, but why does someone change a Website when nothing is wrong? I have seen this a lot other sites.

Walter,

Hackers never rest… if you do not periodically install new security patches and updates, they will find a way in and wreak havoc. Unfortunately, in this instance, the new updates had a temporary negative affect on the operation of the forum software. It is now fixed. I will ask that everyone (including myself) practice some patience when updates are needed and installed.

Bert,

Most other sites do there maintenance in the middle of the night and will give a warning that the site will be down at a certain time. I was in the middle of posting when the site was shut down so of course you lose what you wrote.

Bob,

I agree that is the way it should be done, but in this case it was not… and I do not have any control over that issue. If I did have control, the updates would be announced in advance.
