Can anyone tell me if Winchester used to give wood gun cabinets or display cases to their dealers? I recently inherited an Oak gun cabinet from my dad. It was in his gun shop for years. He says he bought it from another gun shop owner who was retiring and that this owner says Winchester gave him the cabinet as a display case for the new rifles. Just trying to track down some information.

If you can post some pics, maybe we can figure out what youve got. Winchester cabinets have come up in several forum topics. If your not a WACA member you may have to post them through photobucket or similar software. Or, you can forward pics to my email in the signature line and I will post them for you.
