OfflineI know it’s just Christmas but, how many are going to Vegas? Need to get your reservations set up. Sellers can set up on Thursday, possibly late Wednesday. The public gets in on Friday. A special ticket can be had for extra money for non dealers to get in all 3 days. Jan 22 to 24. WACA has a separate area in the first room.
You need to go.

I’ll be there… it’s always fun. I do miss it being held at the Riviera hotel… just like I miss the GSR for the Big Reno show. Anyway, Sunday is tear down day and is closed to the public… Also, if you want to stay at the Westgate, book thru the show & save big $$$
Reno had been in the same hotel for years under different names and ownership’s. Veges was in the Sahara when I started going. I’ve lost count of the other locations. It was in a tent for at least 1 year.

OfflineI’ll be there with my “Winchester International Match Single-Shot Rifle of 1913” display. We’ve never been to the Vegas show, so looking forward to the experience. Hoping for good roads to make it out of Montana and across Idaho!

The old Riviera, and later the Mandalay Bay hosted the Las Vegas Antique Arms show for several years (at least when I was still able to attend them). I still miss the old Hilton (Grand Sierra) for the Big Reno show.

OfflineThe Las Vegas Antique Gun Show is this week! Weather looks to be good. Load in is Wednesday 5-9. “Official set up” starts at 9am on Thursday morning. Opens to the general public on Friday at 9am & Saturday at 9am. The show closes Saturday… Sunday is load out day. Thursday morning the show provides coffee, tea & water to vendors… so don’t spent $5. for the same coffee in the foyer. Bring lots of $$$, plus back up $$$. 🙂 WACA area is in the first room you walk thru, I’m sure President Vinnie will greet you all with a big smile. I know JWA, Elliot, Chuck, Scott Tarbell, Russ Day, Gary & Jennifer Cole, myself and many other club members will be there too. I know the show table count isn’t a big as it was 10 years ago, but there’s still plenty of wonderful firearms to see & adopt. Cheers!
