I remember someone wanted me to look at a gun that one of the auction houses will have in Vegas.  Like I said, I have forgotten what gun and which auction house.  If you post the info I have my pocket tablet at hand and will write it down this time. I never travel to gun shows without this tablet in my pocket.

Viva Las Vegas. Best gun shows ever, except for the Pomona Great Western. Don’t forget to play the slots.   Big LarrySmileSmileSmile

I rarely gamble, with money.  I think Vegas is one of the best but I actually liked the Reno winter show and Denver better sometimes. I only live 30 minutes from the Pomona Fairgrounds and really miss the Great Western. Tulsa is the largest now but is much harder for me to get there.

I thought it was a Model 71 in .45-70 that was the focus of interest?  I can’t recall what auction had it.

Hi Chuck, yes It was I who asked. And Bert’s never failing memory is correct, 71 in 45-70. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the gun.  I am not a 71 expert but it looks right to me.  I forgot my phone so no pictures.
