Obviously his Winchester collection was beyond words, but so were his other collections. I believe he was the owner of a large metal manufacturer.

That is a very impressive collection. Actually just one of those guns is impressive. I won’t be owning any. I’m not sour grapes, but there are only 2 reasons I won’t own one:
I couldn’t afford it

Folks,
I won’t be adding any of the collection to mine, either! A different way to look at the situation–years ago I vowed I would NEVER pay more for a Winchester than the house it was to be stored in!

Not nearly as nice as the Ray Bentley collection, but some very nice firearms. Three 99% model 94 saddle ring carbines, model 94 musket, 92 musket, three model 12 28 gauges and many other nice Winchesters.
