The Fall TGCA Show is in Denton, TX again this year, link to the TGCA site is on our home page. Save the dates: October 20-22. Have not decided if I’ll have a table but will be there helping if I don’t, please look me up and say “hi”. We have a growing number of Winchester collectors (and WACA members) and some awesome displays. Hope to see you there, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Just a few weeks until show time. Hope to see some of y’all there. I’ve decided to get a table even though I still don’t have anything to sell. I came up with an interesting trio of rifles that have only one thing in common. I’ll have an extra chair behind the table so stop by and rest a spell. I think I’ll be by the TGCA SWAG tables.

In our backyard, I’m hoping to make it over during the workday and say hello. I’ll be easily recognized lol

Sounds great, looking forward to meeting you. If the Texas Ranger working the gives your credentials extra scrutiny remember I had NOTHING to do with it. All kidding aside please remember WACA members are welcome guests.

Another TGCA Show is in the books, our biggest show ever at 260 tables. Prices seemed very strong, good thing I wasn’t planning on buying anything. It was good to see several of you, including a few I haven’t seen in a few years. Dan Morphy (yes, THAT Dan Morphy) was gracious enough to be our guest auctioneer Saturday and he helped us raise a fair bit of money for the club. Significant interest in WACA, I’ll need some more recruiting materials before our Spring show!
Hope to see y’all again in April! Show will be at the Waco Convention Center April 26-28.

Mike, that was a good turnout. Last time I went to the TCGA event it was in Fort Worth across from the Stockade. It was way smaller back then. Was this in the Rodeo Hall of Fame?
This past weekend it was in the Denton Convention Center attached to the Embassy Suites. I don’t remember the name of the poorly lit exhibit hall at the Stockyards but we have certainly moved up in the world since then. The convention center in Waco is not as nice as the one in Denton but it’s adjacent to the Hilton so we’ll be comfortable. Jesi did quite a few searches, our members are finally learning to take advantage of what CFM has to offer.

Mike, I ended up coming Saturday morning and only had limited time, so I did a quick walk around to every table….I didn’t catch what I thought might be the “TGCA swag table” so I probably barely missed you….another time perhaps!
It was fun seeing all the stuff in person that’s waaaaay out of my price range…ended up grabbing an 1892 round barrel 32-20 with a Beach (maybe Lyman) front sight/rear tang peep sight for a decent price, probably lower end of that show but I liked it (and could afford it)!

Sorry I missed you, Jeremy. They kept me running all weekend but I had four muskets in a little Lucite rack and WACA recruiting materials next to the end cap with several dozen shirts. Prices were pretty strong, glad you found something you liked.
