I cannot figure out how to select subscriptions and watches.  When I bring up either of these areas both say I have no subscriptions or watches selected.  I have been going in circles trying to figure out how to select these.  Any suggestions?  I’m sure its an easy fix but with my limited computer savvy I just cant figure it out.  If admin. can select them for me just select them all.  Thanks.

Near the bottom left corner of each topic page you should see the Subscribe and Watch selections for the topic posting you are viewing… click them, and that topic will be added to your list.

Scroll up a bit and look to the right of your avatar where it says “logged in as”.  Click on the button that says “PROFILE”.  When that window opens you will see a line about 4″ down from you name with a series of buttons.  Click on “SUBSCRIPTIONS” and “WATCHES” and pick what you want.  All this ammounts to is getting an email saying there’s been a new post to a thread you have previously posted on.

Thank you for the reply.  So I have to select subscribe and watch each topic individually?  I thought when I first became a member there was somewhere that I could select all the subscription’s and watches in one place.  Another question if I am not subscribed or on watches for any topic then I will not see any new posts to those areas?  Sorry for all the questions but I’m trying to figure this computer stuff out.

I think your best way to learn is through trial and error – used to be called OJT (On the Job Training) in the Army.  Just click away and see what happens.  I get notifications on every thread that I posted to and have no idea how that happened.
