I was curious as to what types of advertisements did Winchester produced between 1926 and 1931 to promote stainless steel barrel guns? The only advertisements that I have seen for them are full page magazine ads. Did they do any additional promotions for them?

I don’t think they pushed these bbls. very hard. SS is harder to machine and incurs a little more expense. Production ceased very early on along with the Nickel Steel M52 bbls. These guns now bring a hefty premium over standard. They were never big sellers and I think Winchester lost $$$ on them. Big Larry
