I discovered this morning that my email address list had been compromised by hackers, when I started receiving emails asking about a money request. I thank all who were alert enough to notify me of this breach of my address list. Be on the alert for similar scams requesting “Financial help” from anyone, even if you know them. People dumb enough to fall for such obvious scams (“IRS demands payment now,” etc.) ought to be in nursing homes. I’d love to get one of those calls from Nigeria so I’d have the opportunity to tell the caller what I think of him & his country.

Funny story. My 86 year old dad got a phone call the order day: “grandpa, I got in a car wreck and I need some money.” My dad responded “good, I hope you broke your F@#$%ing neck” and hung up. My mom then called my son to make sure he was okay.
