Did any of You folks end up with the 1st model 1894 s.r.c. ser#46 at $150,000.00, that would be about $340,000.00 Cdn., definetly not a “bargain”. I couldn’t believe the way the bidding went. Now I want to sell some of mine, but I guess there’s only one “first” one. And the 1st model 1890 at $90,000.00, all of a sudden I’m lovin’ all the 1890’s I bought recently.

“A fool and his money are soon party.”
And then there’s the Pilgrims’ recipe for Thanksgiving dinner: “First, get thyself a large, fat turkey.”

"I have seen wicked men and fools, a great many of both, and I believe they both get paid in the end, but the fools first." -- David Balfour, narrator and protagonist of the novel, Kidnapped, by Robert Louis Stevenson.

I had the pleasure of attending one of their premier auctions last year. A large portion of the bids come in online or over the phone. Live bidding would be more fun to watch but once you figure out what those folks at the row of desks are doing that is pretty entertaining as well. It’s also pretty awesome getting to preview some rather exceptional firearms up close and personal.
