My old beater ’55 Model 94 has had 4 holes drilled and tapped on the let side of the receiver for a scope mount. I am thinking about adding the scope mount and a period correct scope to play around with. Can anyone identify the scope mount that would have been installed by looking at the placemenbt of the 4 holes? Thanks

On a ’94, I’d have guessed Williams as being the lowest priced then available.  But the only Williams SM on a ’94 I can find a picture of uses 3 screws in the forward part of the rcvr.  So that’s one to eliminate.

The closest I have found was a Weaver but Im not sure about the hole spacing.
