… while I was logged into RIA this morning, I saw his S&W No. 3 hammered for $775,000.  The auction estimate was $800,000 to $1,400,000.  The auctioneers seemed surprised/disappointed.

Things may be softening. The Gustav Young 1866 didn’t hit the low estimate.
