Since the NRA convention is located in downtown Houston about 4 miles from my house I will be attending on Thursday during the day. Are any other WACA members planning on being there? I see that WACA will have a booth in the Collectors area.]

My wife and I will be representing WACA this year at the NRA Exhibits in Houston. We’ll be displaying our “Winchester International Match Single-Shot Rifle of 1913”. It won the Best of Show award last year at Cody and we’re excited to bring the display to Houston. Be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.
I note that you are planning to attend on Thursday. Actually, Thursday is a set-up day with the exhibit hall open to the public on Friday-Saturday-Sunday. If you come on Thursday, you’re welcome to help me set up the display! Seriously!
You can learn a little more about our display in the latest (Spring 2026) Winchester collector magazine. There’s a picture of Beth and me at our display in Las Vegas on page 10, and the story about the rifle and international competition on page 40.

Well…. let me edit that to probably will attend on Friday. I obviously did not read much of the fine print on the NRA website.
I will be happy to stop by and say hello. Thursday may be possible for me to help. Let me check out the home front schedule. We are hosting 30 people on Saturday and I am the cook so I have a bit of planning to work around.
