OnlineNew to the forum. I have one or more of models 12, 65, 70, 86, 92, 94, 95. I have been told that eventually the thing to do is to hone in on one specific model, but for now I am going through some of the more popular models.
In your opinion, what model should I go after next?

OfflineYou could decide to specialize in Winchesters full coverage factory engraved by Louis Nimschke. For most of us that would be a single piece collection.

I couldn’t afford a one. For all intents and purposes, I am on a standard gun, standard caliber, and light beer kind of budget. The only engraved stuff I can afford says Miroku.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the 1873! This has become my favourite model.
Collect what you like and like what you collect.
And remember the golden rule, a man can never have too many Winchesters

I don’t know how it happened, but I somehow forgot to put a 73 on the list of ones I already own. I suppose this means I agree with you! I own one lowly 2nd model 1873 that I am in the process of refinishing the wood on.
