Welcome Jeff! Did you bring doughnuts or tacos?
Welcome, Jeff! On Mondays it’s Bloody Mary’s.
All kidding aside, Jeff, What brings you here? Any models in particular or only the ones marked “Winchester”?

Thank You All!
I’m having a very generous welcome conversation from TedK and Bert H. already!
I am a Winchester greenhorn for sure, but leaning to that side of the saddle for some time. The very first NEW rifle I bought all by myself was a 1976 model 94, because I liked it’s slim and quick handling, (..who knew Chuck Connor’s rifle was a ’92..), and it was different than every other deer rifle in the family at that time.
I’ve actually bought only a few rifles new since then (, one other is a 9422 with fantastic wood!). I’m a life-long wood-worker, so I’m always attracted to bruised and broken strays in need of some tending, A couple ’92’ basket-cases that switched cartridges, a grey-mare ’85 in 22 WCF , a target ’75 that taught me how to shoot off-hand, and rescued ’75 sporting that has me thinking of getting rid of my German and Czech dance partners.
The donuts are only two doors down from the shop, and red beer was more my young man swill than bloody Mary’s, now it’s coffee, but never before target practice,
Thanks for the Welcome!

Welcome, Jeff. You sound like a man of my own inclinations. Saving a fine Winchester from the parts merchants is a noble task. (Nothing against parts merchants. Like the abortionist, nobody likes them but sometimes they need them.)
As I’m sure you’ve already been told, textual descriptions are wanted but photographs are the coin of the realm. I shouldn’t talk; I’m already behind in my illustrations.
