Just got registered , could somebody point me to  a thread or the

correct place in the fourm to look up a serial number on a 94 , want 

to figure out the year of manufacture

In answer to your question, scroll to the top of the webpage, click the “Resources” link, then select the “When was your Winchester made?” option.
