Hello all, I signed up here a while ago but this is my first post. I’ve picked up an 1897 12 gauge a while ago and although it’s a pretty well-used gun I have really started to love these old Winchesters. Since then I’ve bought two more; a 69a and a 1300 (not old, I know, but it’s a Winchester!).

I joined this forum because I want to keep collecting these fine old guns, maintain them and shoot them and I figured this would be a good place to get tips and share stories.

Here are my two older guns. The first is the 97, it’s well-worn but it shoots just fine. The second is the little .22, it’s in very good condition with just a few small blooms of rust. It came with an original mag in excellent condition, too. The 1300 is just a polymer stocked Defender model, so not much to see. (I tried to post pics, but not sure if I was successful in the preview??)
