Hello, I am a new member here and am a big fan of Winchester lever action rifles, preferably Model 1894. I just purchased my first 1894 rifle manufactured in 1906 in .30 WCF with a half round barrel and full magazine. It also has a period Lyman 1A tang sight. I got it from Merz. I also have a 94 carbine manufactured in 1951 in .32 WS. I am looking forward to learning more about these great rifles. I have a few other lever guns too.

Mark,

Welcome to the WACA! This a great place to learn about Winchester lever-actions, and you only need to ask to get an informed answer to any questions you may have.

Welcome, Mark! Be very careful around those Winchester 22’s (and enablers like JWA Wink)  as they do seem to be habit-forming. I’m a big fan of the 94’s, looking forward to hearing more about your growing collection. My shooting buddy has purchased several guns from Mertz lately, a good man but beginning to suspect he’s habit-forming as well. Laugh
