Thanks Al, That’s a great suggestion on the close-ups of the guns, although some of them look a lot better from 5′ away.
My wife bought the gun rack for me at the Cody show a couple of years ago from Fred Vandersnick. If I remember right, he had 4, 6 and 8 gun versions for sale. I’ll send you a PM with his phone #.

Many of our guns look better from a distance but we love them anyway. I’m pretty sure I met you and your lovely bride at that show in Cody. I found it amusing that she collected Colts and you collect Winchesters. Funny thing is I Think I met a couple at a TGCA show with similar interests. I won’t make it to Cody this year but will almost assuredly make it to the TGCA show in September.

Mike,
We’ll look forward to meeting up with you again next time you’re able to make it to Cody. I did get my lovely bride into a video shoot yesterday when I took one of her newly acquired Colt Lightning rifles out to shoot. She even puts a magazine load through it. Keep an eye out for that video if you need to watch someone a whole lot better looking than me shooting for a change.
Here’s the latest episode from The Cinnabar for the Model 1873 fans:

Great video, Mark! I can only imagine the rush it must have been to fire that old 1873. Those old guns quite often shoot very well in spite of decades of abuse or neglect. There’s something about these old guns, we never shoot them alone.

Hi MarkI’m really enjoying your videos, especially this last one, as a fellow owner of an antique 30” 1873 in .44-40.
Thanks patdaddy. That episode was really enjoyable to make. I’ve added a few more episodes since then. If you haven’t seen them, you can find them on the link below. I also shoot a 30″ 1873 in the first episode with the 1866-1895 leverguns. Thanks so much for watching.
