Nicely done, Mark. Don’t hear much about the 53.

Mark,Another great video. One suggestion. Maybe in future episodes show some close ups of the various guns. Also, I like your gun rack, where did you get it?
thanks,
Al
Thanks Al, That’s a great suggestion on the close-ups of the guns, although some of them look a lot better from 5′ away.
My wife bought the gun rack for me at the Cody show a couple of years ago from Fred Vandersnick. If I remember right, he had 4, 6 and 8 gun versions for sale. I’ll send you a PM with his phone #.

Hey Mark:If you want, I can bring you a correct tang sight screw for your 32-20?

Ha! Thanks Rick! Nothing gets past you. I was figuring I’d have to get one from Jim Grueter at the Cody Show.
Looks like I may have to set up the camera a little farther away from my guns, rather than taking close-ups like Al suggested. That way my guns will appear completely correct and in very nice, original condition.
If you’ll back away from the screen a few feet when you watch my videos, the guns will look much better and greatly enhance your viewing experience.

No sense buying from Jim when you can raid Ricks secret cache of screws he always has under the table! It works out best if you wait until hes out trolling the show. (Not that I would know).
That “black op” might work on anybody else, but Rick’s got the kind of eagle eye that can spot an incorrect tang sight screw on a grainy YouTube video. He’d probably have no trouble spotting me rifling through his cache from across the Riley Event Center.

I may be wrong but I believe Jim has retired from making screws? Hopefully I’m wrong. I was at a table last year when the table holder and Jim had a conversation. Jim commented that he was already out of 73 and 76 stuff. The table holder wanted all of his 86 screws but I believe that this WACA member bought out Jim’s entire stock of screws?

I’d be sorry to hear that Jim’s not making screws anymore. It’s been handy to get them from him at the shows.
