I know it is a wee bit early but I wanted to pass out my family portrait cards early. Hope every one has a great holiday.
Since you’re letting these all hang out on the WORLDWIDE WEB, your next acquisition should be a sharp-eyed and sharp-eared terrier and his intensely devoted Doberman Pinscher friend.
For those who don’t know the story:
The cat burglar was hard at work on the safe door in total darkness, sure the mansion was unoccupied.
A voice brought him up sharp: “Jesus is watching you.” Burglar looked around, saw nobody but, after another couple of minutes, the voice spoke again, “Jesus is watching you.”
Burglar finds his flashlight and shines it all around. Nobody. He keeps looking and finally sees that there’s in a cage in a corner of the room. In it, a parrot is staring at him. Burglar relaxes. Parrot says ” Jesus sees you and he’s coming.”
Burglar smiles. “Who are you?”
Parrot answers, “Moses.”
Burglar laughs and says “What kind of idiot would name a parrot ‘Moses’?”
Parrot replies, “The kind of Idiot who named his Rottweiler ‘Jesus’.

OfflineI love big dogs. And little dogs. I head out on my walk every morning with a pocket full of doggie treats. I have names for all of them, some are even correct! The biggest, scariest dog doesn’t like my treats but he loves a good petting. He’s a big GS with a scarred face and crazy blue eyes. I also carry a little .380. Three GS pack animals attacked me last week on my walk, won’t happen again. It hurt me to stop them but I’m glad I was a pretty serious combat pistol shooter for about 20 years. The irresponsible owner left three more GS dogs out on my walk this morning, very glad they are smarter than the owner. Got a little extra cardio anyway. Sucks when you have to establish a ROE for a morning walk but I want my neighbors to feel safe.

No dogs or cats anymore but we do have a couple pets.
Not a bad alarm system, if they’re like some I’ve known. Reminds me of the Gary Larsen cartoon of a pet store at night, with a very large herpetarium in the center of the store. One pane of its glass is shattered and the herpetarium is empty. All the birds and animals are looking out of their cages fearfully — except a large parrot, on his suspended perch.

Mike ; this is My partner “Cody” He is responsible for getting Me off the couch and out the door 3-4 times a day, so I don’t have time to be not well. I have 18 dogs on Our walk and feed them all but one
Harry-
I’d suspect you and your partner Cody get into your share of mischief. I got to see some of my favorite dogs today but some were enjoying family time inside. Two of my favorites were waiting in my driveway when I headed out! Bad dogs stayed put today, glad I had something a bit more potent than S&W’s bicycle gun. .380 is apparently marginal at best against a 60lb GS in attack mode.
