Medallion in stock,left side?

Has winchester ever put a medallion on the left or saddle ring side of the stock. Thanks,Chuck

In the 73’s I have seen inlayed silver with inscriptions or presentations and compasses on them from the factory. A lot of medallions were put on afterward unless your talking about the commemoratives.

Dont know if its a comm. or not.The owner says it looks factory. It has a horse and the letters H R on the medallion. Will get to see it monday and can take a picture.Thanks,Chuck
