My SS 2 in 3.08 has a late 80-81 ser. # of G-1522XX, Bolt has been throughly custom shop with engraved #,  Barrel has the proprietary crown by Schneider with a bedded HS stock.  Finding the build history is almost impossible.  Thanks Folks,,, DC
