I’m looking for someone that may have a copy of the Winchester Herald Magazine.  Vol. 3 No. 4…. I would like to obtain a high quality digital copy or photo of the article pictured below to use with my display at Cody.  The Cody Museum doesn’t have Vol. 3… so, can anyone here help?  Thanks in advance… Ben

The publication is April, 1923….  Any help locating this issue would be greatly appreciated.  It will be used in the display with one of the rifles shown in the article.  Thanks in advance.  Ben

What a great display Ben.  I know nothing of Nana Gable and need to do a bit of research on her..  Hope you find your article/magazine.

Nan Gable (Aspenwall)…  followed Annie Oakley as Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show trick shooter.  She was the first person to ride solo across the US…from San Francisco to New York in 1910-11… the rifle was discovered in Spokane, Wa… it’s been a fun journey.  The magazine article copy is the large upright picture on the table.

Now you just need to find her other Winchester 1906 Expert!  Should be child’s play to an accomplished scrounger like you.
