  Hey There larryb,

Just a short answer to your question, I take it that the Winchester Model 94 you are looking at, the Upper Tang is Marked 94, Not 1894 ? You can only get a Letter for a Winchester Model 1894 up until Serial Number 354,000. After that you are on your own and the opinion of others as to if the configuration is correct.

As for the free Serial Number (searches) Checks, you have to belong to the CFM and you get so many, depending on your Membership, then being a Member of the WACA you get an additional 15 Serial Number (searches) Checks. (go to the header of the Forum and click on Membership, for an explanation).

Maybe Bert will chime in and help you out with your Quest, about your Winchester Model 94, or just Post your Question, who knows, who can be of assistance to you. You might just be surprised, as to all the opinions you will get about your Question.

  Enjoy the Day,

Larry,

Cody doesn’t do anything for free. Being a Cody member just gives you a discount and the ability to call in on a guns. If your just into the 94’s you don’t get much advantage from the membership since they have limited records. For me they are a big asset since they have all the 73 records and thats another reason  I like the 73’s.
