where would one look to find a list of up coming gun shows here in new england? They seem far and few between.

The ones worth attending are sure as hell few and far between. The West Springfield, Mass, show at the Mass State Fair grounds was great…20 yrs ago. I’ve heard there’s been an attempt to revive it, but don’t know how that’s going. The NYS Gun Collector’s Assn. show in Albany is outside NE, but was formerly a quality show; now, I don’t know. Gunbroker & all the other on-line auctions have pretty much killed them all.
Gun List used to publish lists of shows, but no doubt it’s another casualty of the internet.

New England isn’t that far from Pennsylvania. This show is fairly good and five times a year.

You’re right, but I considered it too far outside NE.

But there really isn’t a better option. Or just go to the Baltimore show once a year in March.

These have been around a long time, but I’ve never seen a Winchester of just decent quality never mind a really nice one. And lately there are simply no pre-64 Winchesters at all. I still go but I have no expectations of finding anything worth purchasing.
That said, I think this Association is holding a meeting in Springfield MA concurrent with one of the Northeast Gun Shows late October 2023.
