Would have sworn I’d seen displays of hucksterism on GB so shameless they couldn’t be surpassed, but this ignorant buffoon raises the bar completely out of sight. Laughable to anyone with a smattering of “gun-sense,” but the on-line world abounds with credulous buyers who fall for such swill.

A gun that most collectors beyond the novice stage would walk right past at a show, unless they saw a fire-sale price tag on it.
I recall a guest or new member here recently asked if takedown versions of Winchesters are worth more money. This seller isn’t shy about his opinion on the topic.
At least the seller is handling such an astonishing piece with white gloves.
This is no more than an average example, at best! MANY much better examples out there!
I believe this 42 he has for sale trumps the 94. Where else can you get the most exceptional 42 on the market. It has the special order checkered forearm and plain butt stock with a pachmayr pad. The aftermarket vent rib is a bonus. (no off set proof marks) and a complete reblue!

I agree it is a lot of BS.
It does seem he wants to sell his pieces as he starts them at a penny with no reserve. I wonder if they will sell for as fabulous a price as he implies. Doubtful. And of course even though it is a no-reserve auction starting at a penny, I can’t help but wonder if shill bidding will be involved.
Does anyone here call these guys out on their ads or do We just sit and bitch amongst ourselves about Their audacity. I sent Him a message, no reply

Henry, to attempt a “conversation” with such a complete & total blithering idiot could only be an exercise in futility. How could anyone write such crazy bombastic nonsense without having fatuous, but sincere, self-confidence in his own knowledge & abilities? His ignorance of firearms is so profound that he’d be blind to “constructive criticism,” & think you the fool for attempting to enlighten him.
