Thanks for the well wishes, fellows. At present .321 dia. bullets are hard to come by.However I have a small stock pile, that should last me awhile.
In the badly eroded bore of my one .32 WS, 8 mm (.323″) shot more accurately than .321″. Perhaps 8 mm would be easier to find.

Interesting point. I even have a supply of round nose 8mm bullets – I think they are 170 grain – might be just the ticket.

Local northern Vermont gun shop yesterday, Remington 30-30 170 grain Core Lokt, $29.99, Remington 32 Special 170 grain, $46.99. They had about 30 boxes of 30-30 and only 2 boxes of 32 Special. Might be an issue down the road.
If you passed those .32’s up, you passed up a bargain. I just checked ammoseek.com for .32 Specials and the cheapest box of Remington Corelokt’s in the country is:

Pick these two this week! 1950 and 1953.
Nice vintage.
On the topic of the ammo, the future of a lot of these semi-obsolete, less popular cartridges is bleak. We talked about .32 Specials above, but .300 Savage, .30-40 and .35 Remington (all cartridges I shoot) are running closer to $100 a box.

Have you sent me the serial numbers one them? The Model 64 looks like the “carbine” 20-inch rifle.
Hi Bert, no it’s a rifle 24″ 1953 M64 ser 2023222 and carbine 1950 ser 1687816. Not sure if you have these. Both 32 spl.
I already had the Model 64 rifle documented, but the 94 Carbine is a new entry in the survey.
Thanks
