Yup, I had two, but now just one. Ser. #151831 45-70. Not pristine, but a real “Hunter”/pig shooter! The sling and Lyman sights are not in the Letter. RDB

Very nice! I love it, I’ve seen 2 others like that, full mag, crescent butt, 1 was PG, Iv’e seen a lot of 33 rifles in that configuration with their standard 24″ barrel. Thanks for posting, a Gem!

The “climbin’ Lyman” may not be in the letter but that and the sling installation tell us a lot about somebody who owned it, to wit: it was a rifle to “do bidness’ with” as we say down here. It deserves pride of place in your collection.
