Never been to Baltimore but am going to Tulsa for the first time. Anyone else going to Tulsa?
Better start doing some long distance road work, if it isn’t too late to get into shape.
I’ve been to both & much prefer Baltimore, because the hundreds of tables of black rifles & other modern stuff that waste floor space at Tulsa aren’t allowed at Baltimore. On the other hand, Tulsa is a much more pleasant venue, & don’t miss the wonderful Gilcrease Museum of Western Art. (The Baltimore show isn’t actually in the gang-ruled ghetto of Baltimore, but at the State Fair grounds several miles away.)
Thanks Clarence. I have a few friends that used to go to Baltimore on a regular basis and still do occasionally. As far as getting in shape, it’s too late, especially since the show is next week. Before the Great Western Gun Show was shut down it was the biggest show in the US. In the summer when a lot of stuff could be outside and in the 6 or 7 exhibition halls it was bigger than Tulsa. If you got there when the gate was first opened, went by yourself, walked as fast as you could, never stopped at a table that was not of any interest you could walk it in one day. Later you learned that in certain buildings there were dealers you might want to go see but mainly you stayed in the largest building, #4, where most of the collectable dealers were.

I had planned on attending the Tulsa show but had to cancel because of a scheduling conflict. Will make it in November though.
