It has been decades of interest and a few years of work to get this story told. Craig Fellows and I have been chasing small threads of information for over 40 years just out of personal interest. It was only the last 10 years or so that Craig decided to step it up to the next level.
What has always been of great interest to us, finally got put into a small teaser that Craig presented to the right person that eventually captured the interest of the History Channel. We spent several weeks filming on location around the battlefield 2 years ago, and with more filming to fill in the holes, it seems that it is finally done and scheduled to air on the 28th of September. They have chosen the time of 8:00 AM Eastern and are going to show all 3 episodes back to back.
I am reserved about how well it will be finished, as I have seen History Channel programs that weren’t all that great. It is still gratifying to think that we were able to tell a story about something we have been interested in for decades, and that maybe it will resonate with others that have the same interests…

As in, perhaps you mean, staged reenactments of WWII battles depicting soldiers firing FLINTLOCKS! Or Egyptian-history programs which routinely depict ancient Egyptians as Negroes. Yes, these absurdities have happened, & others almost as great. I watch HC every single day, despite such cringe-inducing drivel as this, as a desperate escape from the idiocy of all the other cable garbage. Some HC programs are better produced (i.e., better financed) than others, & I sincerely hope yours is one of them.

Finally got to watch. I must admit, I was disappointed – way over-produced. The brief/quick/jerky transitions from scene to scene where overused and frankly nerve-racking to the point of being unwatchable. Obviously the buzz-kill ending didn’t help either. Sorry

Sad, but not surprising. When I first began getting HC on my cable about 20 yrs ago, there were many serious discussions of military history, great battles ancient & modern, military eqpt., etc. Think it was HC that first ran RL Wilson’s “Story of the Gun.” I wouldn’t call these “college-level” productions, but they certainly weren’t the childish idiocy that now dominates HC: Ancient Aliens, Oak Island, Ice Road Truckers, & all the rest of that nonsense. About the only HC series I now watch is American Pickers.

hello. How can I get in contact with Craig? My step father who passed years ago used to spend a lot of time with Henry.
