There are still some Saturday Evening Banquet tickets available. This takes place at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West at 6:00pm. The guest speaker is Ron Clayton, the subject is the Model 1873 used by Paul Newman in the 1967 Western film Hombre. There’s a cash bar, the raffle and the awards presentation as usual.
Please get your tickets in advance by contacting the WACA office if you’re planning to attend. It’s a big help to do so and there’s no guarantee that there will be any tickets available at the time of the show. $45 per person. 406-285-3722

Heading out in 30 days! Fuel prices putting a bit of a damper on my enthusiasm for this road trip but one of the lessons of that virus is that I miss road trips and visiting with folks who love old guns like I do. Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it. Unless things change I’ll be at table 7; seven tables from the door against the wall. Look for an ugly old guy with a beard, I’m the one without a board member name tag. 😉 I don’t have much to sell, there’s a chance I may be in a buying mood with the wherewithal to bring home some new treasures.
