OK guys!  We have about 30 tables left so now would be the time to sign up.  Same location, same price. Date is July 12-13-14.  Contact Vinny Martin (508) 922-9267, <[email protected]> and nail down a good table location.

You will be able to pick up your copy of Rob Kassab and Brad Dunbar’s new book Winchester Model 1895 – Last of the Classic Lever Actions and Rob and Brad will sign it.

Thanks…………..

Paid up and ready to go.  Leaving for Denver on the 15th of this month.  This will make my 30th set up at that show.  Just as many years in Cody, both at Brian’s cowboy collectable show and the WACA show.  Cody and Denver are my favorites.

I sure would like to take My display to Cody but I’m very hesitant about doing any more U.S. shows, here’s why . Three years ago I had tables reserved at Las Vegas, Louisville and Houston Tx.. I loaded up 34 guns, all antique, and a bunch of Winchester memorabilia for My display. When I got to the border the U.S. customs  agent I encountered must  have been having a bad day and He determined that I was not going to any gun show in the U.S. any time soon. Even though I had all the paperwork necessary He said I needed a commercial inbound manifest and after 2 hours arguing with them, they turned Me around and let Me take My things back to Canada, He said He could confiscate them if HE wanted to. Obviously I had already paid for My tables and was fortunate enough to get them re-rented. I tell Ya this left a pretty bad taste in My mouth after 50 years of doing this same thing with no hassles what so ever. However I am planning to go to Cody this year, if nothing else, just to have a look around and chat.

Sorry to hear about your experience, unfortunately my government has let politics creep into it’s employees. T/R
