I just discovered this difference in two Letters for the same rifle.  This may have been an oversight, but there seems to a lack of information contained in the Letter I sent for.

Roger,

The two letters are for different serial numbers, and indeed for two different Models (an 1885 and an 1890.

Roger,

They look to contain similar info to me if you subtract the special order features of the 1885.  The 1890 is presumed to have the standard 24″ length barrel and no special features other than the sights specified otherwise they are normally mentioned.  Does your 1890 have special features that are not mentioned?

I feel your pain. My younger wife (by about 7 years) functions as a Greek chorus to remind me why I was going into the garage and what I was supposed to bring back.

Never mind, Rog. Time will cure this malady ( and everything else.)
