For those that have not yet heard, the April Tulsa Gun Show was just cancelled by the OK Governor today.  I was looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Additionally, other US shows have been cancelled as well as the Canadian gun shows as of today.

We checked earlier this week and as of noon today it was still on but since its on county property we figured it would, given all the other cancellations. I guess I can cancel my hotel.

Bummer. That’s a huge blow to many serious collectors and dealers. I don’t have a bucket list but if I did that show would be on it. I was just wondering if something like this was coming. One of my favorite shows is about six weeks out, hopefully this silliness will be over by then.

The governor here in Ohio canceled any event with 100 people or more, and all schools for three weeks. I had heard the NRA show has also been canceled

Yes, I’m wondering about that one too. I have my tables reserved, but hadn’t booked a room yet.

The Govt controls everything now. Well, they always did, but now there is no hiding it.

I guess We, like everyone else, will have to put things on hold for a while, as far as shows and things go. However We are fortunate to have this site and others to keep in touch and buy or sell . Looks like We  Canucks will probably be missing the Big Calgary show in April, but i haven’t heard that officially yet, guess I’ll just have to be patient and wait to spend My money  like everybody else.

pdog72,

I have my room reserved (same place we were all at last year) and I think you should do the same ASAP.  You can always cancel.  Better safe than sorry.  If all of these other shows are cancelled and Denver is still a go, then a lot of the guys that go to these other shows and not Denver, may need a gun show fix by May and rooms may be hard to get.  Just my opinion.  If you have questions, give me a call.  If I don’t answer leave a message and I’ll call you back.

You may have a good point. Hoping we can get caught up there.

I am very interested in what may happen to the Denver show too.  Haven’t made my hotel registration yet but I need to.  Hopefully if they have to cancel they give us at least a month’s warning so we might be able to get our deposit back?

I would imagine that anyone who has paid for tables at this show, could probably carry over that payment for the same tables, next year.  Just a guess.  Many venues would rather do that, than send payment back to each individual.

That is what they are doing for the Nov. show.
