RIA is putting on.the Ritz in August for WACA,.per Heather’s email.blast. Is anybody going?
I am contemplating taking the War Department along with handcuffs and duct tape to keep me from bidding on anything. The same as I would do when shopping in the Casbah for pieces of the True Cross.

I took them up on their gracious offer last year and saw some awesome guns and incredible bidding wars. I understand RIA is going to furnish our guest auctioneer at the fall TGCA show, Kevin put on a great sale last time he did it for us. Graham scored a few nice ones while we were there.

I can’t afford it , every thing I’m drooling on is $30,000.00 to $90,000.00 , so pretty much leaves Me in the pauper section. If I spent $30,000.00 on a piece there, it would cost Me app. $65,000.00 Cdn. by time I got it home.

But you do have a lot of nice rifles…. It probably takes you a while to wipe them all down

I don’t deal with RIA. Anything worth buying goes for a ridiculous price. Since I can’t go the their business and look at the guns I won’t buy sight unseen. After a few phone calls to them I have found their descriptions do not match their guns in some cases.
Chuck, I was only thinking about the free hotel room and the banquet. I just thought i’d go and watch the elephants fight from a safe distance.
