If I could have a Winchester Built for me. I would like a:

Model 71 Deluxe, 24" barrel, Take Down, A++ walnut, checkered, recoil pad butt, sling swivels, Rust blued, in .405Win. With a full length magazine, Hooded front sight and Lyman receiver mounted Peep sight.

What’s yours?

I would have to say it would be an 1876, checked presentation wood, straight grip, crescent butt, CC receiver and trimmings, with 34" heavy half octagon barrel, full magazine, 7 leaf express sight, beaches front sight, and vernier tang sight, in 50 express. Oh, engraved of course.

1873 44-40, 30" octagon barrel, full magazine, straight grip, crescent butt, oiled rosewood or ebony stock and forearm, tarnished silver forearm cap, receiver and butt plate, nitre blue screws, loading port and saddle ring, the rest dark blue or dark patina.

I know you don’t usually find saddle rings on rifles but I like them and it’s my fantasy, right? 😛

I actually have a 30" Uberti in .45 Colt that I’m using to work toward this dream.

34" heavy .50 cal. barrel with full mag…will the tripod be engraved? Laugh

I’ll play:
Model 1886 solid frame. 28" 1/2 octagon, matted nickel steel barrel and 1/2 mag. Lyman No.5 front, platinum lined Winchester express barrel and Lyman No.1 tang sights. Pistol grip 3x wood with D style carving, 1/2" extra butt stock length with crescent butt. No.6 style engraving with deer and bear scenes, barrel scroll work….caliber 45-90.

Brad

I would like to travel back in time and order one plain, standard carbine for the advertised price. It would be a M1886 SRC in .33 WCF – and I would happily mail my $19 in 😀 Might add the Lyman long receiver sight Wink

Edit, ok, maybe add the cheekpiece feature to the buttstock. 8)
