OfflineI was told that this box was called a “5th Of A Case”. These were supposedly sold to dealers that didn’t need a full case for their inventory during the depression era. I have never seen another box or ‘case’ of five boxes in any caliber and I am curious. The box on top is similar to the boxes in the case. The dealer I bought them from was kind enough to shrink wrap the box for me after I checked out the contents, which were pristine. I doubt I will ever open it again. Anyone have any information or correction to the information I got?
Thanks,
Roger
