Yeah Mike, that WACA Guest does not surprise me. We were on the phone with Heather Martin a couple of weeks ago about an issue and she informed us about our contact information being all screwed up. Wrong everything. E- mail address, home address, phone numbers. Seems nothing was updated from way back when I joined. She straightened it out for us. Very nice lady. I was even a life member of the Winchester Collectors Club back in the day and still have some of the magazines that they put out.Hey Jeff thanks for the invit. Looking forward to seeing you and Elliot again. See ya, Scott
Scott,
I just updated (fixed) your Forum membership status… you are now in the database as a regular member.
See you in Cody!

Will be there with a display of 2 identically lettered, consecutive 1886 SRCs that were used in the Hawaiian Civilian Guard.
A real interesting story of how they came together and how they were shipped and returned to Winchester on the same date.
Lettered and historically the same, they are an interesting pair of guns…
I guess Brenda and I are going to ride the bike out to Cody ,(for the show), so I won’t be setting up a table. It’ll be good to see all the folks again. I may bring a few bucks to buy something interesting.

Looking forward to meeting people and putting faces with names! Looks like I’ll be bringing a Lazy Susan rack full of mostly high condition but otherwise unremarkable .22’s, one well used wall hanger 1903 and a nice enough Plain Jane Model 12. Not bringing anything to sell but money sometimes changes things.

Happy to report that Cody, Wyoming is alive and well! $13.99 breakfast buffet is probably the best breakfast deal in town (as soon as they figure out the steam tables!) and the town is full of tourists. CFM has thoughtfully placed posters promoting our show at several places around the BBCOW and CFM Curator Danny Michael is bringing some very special eye candy to the show!
See y’all tomorrow!

I’ll be there at about 2 pm tomorrow. I am usually across from Jessie.
Good deal. I think we’ll have table A7 or something like that; against the wall seventh table from the door.

Mike,
I took your lazy “Susan” for a spin a couple of times today (hope you don’t mind). She is awesome and worthy of any Winchester show!
Great seeing you today, put some prices on your prized collection and you will go home with no firearms… 🙂

Hey Bert, thanks for doing that for me. I appreciate it. I’ll be sure to look you up at the show. See ya, Scott
Scott, I have an extra chair at my table that you are welcome to use any time. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
Longer trip for you than me, thanks for attending! I am sure you will enjoy this compact but VERY impressive Winchester WACA show!
I am at table F12, but you will certainly recognize my ugly face long before the obscure table number……

Thanks, Jeff. Great visiting with you as well. I brought those .22’s because I enjoy looking at them and I don’t mind sharing. I’ve worked pretty hard to gather up those guns and I’m planning on keeping them for awhile. Maybe I’ll get out and around a bit more today, lots of very interesting guns and people.

Great to see you, Chuck. You’ve inspired me to find some time to sneak into my loading room. No telling what I’ll find in there!
