Greetings,
I have my Great Grandfathers original 1892 Winchester 44-40 that I have been trying to mechanically restore for several years. I am now down to three parts that have been missing for more than 60 years: The Ejector, Ejector Spring, and Ejector Collar. I can single shot the rifle but with the Ejector will make it fully functional. The parts manufacturers I have gone through are out of stock and don’t know when they’ll get those parts in. I have a machinist friend who thinks he could make the ejector but would need the specifications. I’ve contacted Winchester and the Cody Museum with no help. Now I’m reaching out to Winchester Collectors.
