Good morning,

My name is Daniel I have an 1886 Winchester 45-70 26” octagon barrel tappered (1”to 3/4” not actual measurement just for example,) H.3 proof, mark underneath, along with the triangle 1 and VP marks (from what I can make out with the magnifying glass old age lol. )Serial#121005 

And the finger lever has a slight taper oval (not a pistol grip )as well, and does not close completely to the bottom tang any information you have would be greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

this gun was found at the local dump. I believe it was in a fire. I have disassembled most of the gun. I have removed the magazine tube and surprisingly the action works. I will send photos as soon as possible. Thank you for your reply. I will Send pictures shortly.
