So who won the raffle at Cody? Can I throw my stubs out?
You can throw out your stubs. Sorry!
Both short rifles were won by our members.
Mike Hunter of Missouri won 1st Place. Jeremy Polk of Texas won 2nd Place. Jeremy was present at the show and couldn’t have been more excited.
We appreciate all who participated in our annual fundraiser.

OfflineAnd for those who doubt it, Jeremy’s winning ticket is courtroom grade irrefutable proof of the existence of The Universal Law of Natural Unfairness. The fully restored, upgraded and engraved First Model 1873 Winchester on display during the show at Mark Douglas’s table is owned by none other than …..wait for it……………… Jeremy P.
Yes, the man who owns that jewel of jewels was also given a new Winchester Model 1892 .45 caliber short rifle to carry home his very own self.
While his friends – who forked over their hard earned wages for tickets got…..bupkis. [ a wonderful and pungent Yiddish expression that in English means, literally, “little beans” but is an oblique reference to goat feces.]
