This Highwall is dated 1887 and has its original 28 inch No. 2 octagonal barrel. The action is perfect while portions of the bore near the chamber have erosion or pitting. Major portion of the bore is shiny with some pitting. The buttstock had been broken at some time, requiring repair of the lower tang as well. Otherwise rifle is sound, shoots fine, and has an excellent trigger. Original factory sights. Photos tell most of the tale. $1500 obo. Additional photos as you need them. I’ve just replaced this rifle with a Highwall in .38-55 so would like to find a good home for it!
