I need a checkered buttplate for a Marksman stock. The bigger the better, in case I need to grind to fit. Please let me know if you have a spare, and thank you.

Checked my buttplate against a Marksman. Will not work. Sorry. I am sure someone has the right one. Check ebay.

If it helps you in your search, the nominal dimension the Marksman buttplate is 5.26″ x 1.77″. Also, it is the same buttplate as used on the model 52B & C Target as well as the model 75 Target.
