Now you need a 98% WWI trenchgun to go with it. Looks like a real nice one.

What Tom D said. Got that shotgun from Felix Bedlans collection. It sold for over $13,000 because it was US marked. The one on the link is not and is probably one of the Ivanhoe guns sold for $2,500 several years ago. Makes a huge difference. Today is the day I get my new to me Trenchgun # E955552, and M1917 bayonet. It was made in 1943 and I just happened to have a near to mint MILLSCO 1943 dated M1907 leather sling for it. Now, to find some WW2 brass 00 Buck. Thanks, Big Larry

Big Larry used to have a WWI 1897 trench gun that was 99+%. And it had the hand stamped US and Ord. bomb marks too. It was absolutely the nicest one I’ve ever seen. I have one in about the same condition, but unfortunately it does not have the hand stamped marks. 🙁
Tom D, I have forgotten you. Full name please. Big Larry

Big Larrry, it’s Tom D, aka Steve. I bought your other WWI US marked 1897 US trench gun that you replaced with the one from Bedlan. My user name on this forum is “Tom D”. I sent you a couple of emails over the past couple of weeks, but I did not receive a reply from you. Maybe they went to your Spam Folder.
I thought it may be you Steve. My former email went into space and I lost all my contacts.
Please send me an email at [email protected] and I will have yours.
My new M97 # 955552 is better than the seller said. It is a 99%er and I doubt it has ever been fired.
It has the factory ground down bead front sight. Also PD marked in tiny letters on the pistol grip knob.
Not wanting to get back into shotguns, for the price, I could not turn this one down.
Still need a sealed box of WW2 brass 00 buck. Thanks, Big Larry

Larry,
Have you contacted Ray Giles at RTG ammo? I think he still goes to the large shows. That is your best bet.
Walter
Thanks. I have a great admiration for that man. I will let him know I am looking for some brass US WW2 00 buck shotshells. Thank you Sir. Big Larry

I’ve got a couple of boxes of sealed 25 round military XX buck and a smaller (10 round I believe). I’ll dig them out and send you some photos.
That would be nice of you my friend. My email address has changed to [email protected] Thanks, Big Larry
