I’ve got a pre-war Winchester Model 70 with Lyman 48 WJS sight base. This is the early 2nd variation 48 WJS base that is not milled requiring the stock to be cut out.  I am looking for short slide arm for this base.  See Stroebel’s “Old Gunsights” page 36-37 for reference.  I am also interested in a good to excellent condition complete Lyman 48 WJS sight, 2nd variation, matching base and short slide numbers.  Any leads are appreciated.
