I am looking for a front sight for a Stevens No. 44 with 7/16 dovetail.

They show up frequently on ebay, but problem is most sellers won’t ship outside US. If you found one you liked, I’d buy it & mail it to you myself, but as you probably know, no international insurance is available, or even tracking; all you get at this end of the line is a postal receipt for the postage cost. I once sold a very special Unertl scope to someone in Germany that for months I feared had been lost or (more likely) stolen; a good four months passed before he received it, but thank God no damage!

Steff, same price as one on ebay, except I’ll have to get estimate of mailing cost to Germany. I did some more looking & found I do have the original Marbles envelope in fair cond.

Right…but I also have a surplus Lyman #2 tang sight.
